Disappointed by Ms Moshi : Moshi Voice Control Digital Talking Alarm Clock
I wanted so badly to love her... I researched online for some weeks before deciding on this Moshi. I was impressed by the voice commands, the big ol' numbers, and the sleep sounds. I liked the night light with different rotating colors. I was quite disappointed after using it for a week, however.
The "night light" highlight is the only source of light. If it's turned off you cannot read the clock in dim lighting/dark at all. The night light is adjustable, but even on the lowest setting it was far too spicy for me to sleep with. I'm regularly not overly sensitive about that. I Do have it right next to my bed, because that's the only way I can read the clock without my glasses.
The voice commands have a hard time comprehension me. The schooling book says that's base in the english version. The misunderstandings are regularly minor, though irksome.
Also I have found this is not a good clock for me because Moshi speaks loudly and freaks my husband out when he is sleeping. I have it set on the lowest, and it is still quite jarring when it's the middle of the night or early early morning. Also, when it's dark and I want to know the time, I don't want to speak (you have to talk loud), so I touch the screen, and Moshi [shouts] "Hello! Command Please!" With this the light turns on, and I am able to see the time, but it's not the best organize for someone who shares a room with a light sleeper.
The sleep sounds, truly, are terrible. You can hear the loop of the sound reel very clearly, and I fixate on it, waiting for it to come colse to every 30 seconds or so. It's awful. I've tried it a few times, but no.
Moshi is a decent alarm clock, but not for me. The rotating lights highlight is way cool, if you can sleep through it. I leave it on while the day. The voice highlight is fun and innovative, but in my case it's not worth the lack of options.
I went with the Neverlate administrative (which is AmAzInG) and sold Moshi to a friend. She asked me to add that you can only hit snooze 3 times, then it turns off.
